Membership 2010-11 now due

All members have now been posted their application form for renewal of the membership for 2010-11. Adults £30 and Juniors (U16) £7.50. For new membership applications are available on line by clicking here.

The club is now in the closed season. Schools and groups and private bookings still available via contact page.

Membership renewals will be sent out by end of August to all current members. A newsletter, new look brochure and Saturday morning, 4* and JD registration forms will be sent out too in same envelopes.

Enrolment for all Adult and Family lessons is Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th September in the lodge from 7pm.

We are also arranging a Charity Day on Sunday 26th September 2010 for those wishing to try out skiing at no charge, however a donation to our charity's Great North Air Ambulance and Children with Leukaemia is expected. Please contact our secretary via contact page for enrolling, as its open to all standards of skier but targeting beginners.

We now can offer taster sessions at £15 per adult and £10 for juniors for a One hour session. Insurance limitations only allows one taster session per person per year.

Tubing is here....

Tubing has started at the slope and is proving to be very popular. There are 8 tubes and its first come first served. 2 half hour sessions for £4.00 each junior or adult members and £6 for non members.

Next beginners classes will now be in September 2010

The next set of classes start Monday 27th September. The cost this year is £107 (payable when booking on 13/14th September) for six one hour lessons in a group of up to ten. This fee includes skis and boots plus membership of Kendal Ski Club for a whole season. Juniors over 14 can enrol on these courses but must pay adult price for the lessons paying a total of £84.50.

At the end of the course you have the option to continue in the class on a weekly pay as you ski basis. (£12 per session including equipment)

Juniors (U16) £48.50, when accompanied by an adult in designated family classes.

All our instructors hold nationally recognised qualifications.
