Schools and groups

Schools and groups from across the North West make use of our facilities every season. We also have an ample supply of skis and equipment for all age groups. Bookings are accepted subject to the rules of Kendal Ski Club and any organisation making a booking must comply with our conditions of use.

Your responsibilities and our charges

Leaders are responsible for the safety and behaviour of their group, on and off the slope and must not allow disturbance to local residents. Leaders who can provide evidence of an uptodate national qualification for ski instruction, and have approval from Kendal Ski Club, may use the slope without supervision by a KSC Club Official subject to the rules of the club. (Your qualification provides appropriate insurance cover and without it you could seriously compromise the club should an accident occur whilst you are instructing.)

Affiliated membership of the Kendal Ski Club is available for official schools and groups, making it cheaper to use the club’s equipment and slope. Such membership relates to group booking sessions only and not to any other club activities or sessions. The nominated person (only) applying for affiliated membership has one vote at the Annual General Meeting as well as other meetings of the members.

Click here for downloadable current application forms, instructor Registration forms and details of our charges for schools and groups. Invoices for all groups are sent at the end of each month and payment is required within the following month. A non-arrival or late cancellation charge of £20 will be applied.
