Schools, Groups & Parties
Schools and groups from across the North West make use of our facilities every season. We have an ample supply of skis and equipment for all age groups. We welcome interest from schools, outdoor centres, clubs, social groups and other organisations. If you are interested in seeing what we can offer you please get in touch via our contact page. Bookings are accepted subject to the rules of Kendal Snowsports Club and any organisation making a booking must comply with our conditions of use below.
Slope Operation Refresher Sessions
Our next refresher sessions runs on Wednesday Septembere 14th 2011 from 7.30pm and Thursday 15th September 2011 again from 7.30pm.
A chance to look at all aspects of slope, equipment and lodge operations. Club Instructors will also be present to answer questions or give advice on any concerns you may have.

Conditions for use by schools and groups
1. Groups must be under instruction at all times and the instructor fully insured for the activity. Groups should be at a ratio of no more than 10 pupils per qualified instructor.
2. Groups may not have exclusive use of the slope and will be required to negotiate use of the various areas of the slope.
3. Booked times must be adhered to – if you arrive late your session will have to be shortened if other groups are waiting.
4.Equipment must be left tidily with boots clipped up etc as taught on your training sessions
5. Leaders/instructors must be trained to the Club’s standards and ensure the safe use of slope, tows and other facilities
6. Misting system, tows, lights etc must be turned off and the lodge securely locked at the end of your session as taught on your training session
7. Details of your group numbers must be recorded at the end of your visit on the Schools and Groups notice board.
8. Helmets (supplied free) must be worn by children aged 7 and under and encouraged for others.
9. You must be familiar with our Risk Assessment for group visits and act in accordingly
10. It is your responsibility to ensure you are up to date with all procedures. Ask if necessary
