What’s on At KSC we have an ever-expanding programme of activities. We coach about 400 adults and 200 children in skiing and boarding every week during the season. Schools from three counties, and a variety of different interest groups use the slope extensively outside ‘club hours’. Many of these groups are affiliated members and some have their own instructors but other groups - youth groups, scouts and so on - may use our own instructors. We also offer free use of the slope and facilities to organisations concerned with the disabled. Snowability are regular users, meeting on a number of Saturdays through the season, and so are blind skiers. Please note that some activities are only open to club members, including recreational and freestyle skiing and boarding, owing to insurance limitations. Unfortunately, the Telemark taster session scheduled for Saturday 26 April 2008 has been cancelled because too few places were booked in advance. Sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused. Places are still available for the SSE coaching day on 10 May. All KSC club members welcome. Send an email to the club secretary expressing an interest at sec@kendalski.co.uk. |
